Payment Procedure
High Season Tariff – US $ 250 per person per night ( March, April, May, September, October, November)
Low Season Tariff – US $ 200 per person per night (January, February, June, July, August, December)
Surcharges
Individual tourists and smaller groups less than 3 persons shall be subject to :
Surcharge over the above minimum daily rates applicable as follows:
Single individual : US $ 40 per per night
Group of two persons : US $ 30 per night
* There will be no discout on diplomatic visas
* There shall be no charge for children up to the age of 5 years. However those between the age of 6 – 12 accompanied by elders/guardians shall be given 50% discount on the daily rates and 100% on royalty.
*Full time students below the age of 25 holding a valid student identity card shall also be given 25% discount on daily rates.
The minimum price includes
- All government charges/taxes ( including the royalty )
- Accommodation in tourist standard hotels ( 3 stars) approved by TCB
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ( Tea and coffee)
- A Licensed Bhutanese Tour Guide
- All internal transportation with a driver
- Full camping equipment and Staff on trek
- Sightseeing
- Entrance to museums and monuments
*Single supplement requires @ US $ 40 per night
Visa
One must apply for Bhutanese visa way ahead of their plan through a government approved, Licensed tour operator such as Himalayan Horizon Travels ( HHT).
*The Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) is responsible for all regulations and monitoring of all travel agents in Bhutan. Only upon receiving the full payment based on the mandated cost, then the visa is approved.
* Upon receiving the full payment we (HHT) make a deposit to our account with the TCB and then the money is withheld by the TCB until the trip has successfully taken place. This guarantees the safety of your payment and the services to be provided with experience, quality and integrity.
Advance payment in full for the entire tour package must be sent to Himalayan Horizon Travels at least 3 months prior to arrival
Payment is done through wire transfer, we do not have credit card facility for tour payments.
Full payment to be transferred (wired) on confirming your Bhutan trip with us to the following Bank Account of our Bank
Bank Charges are additional on the package amount.
